Here we installing our first package of Italian/Carniolian hybrid bees in their new home. Cordell and I decided to be brave and leave off the veils and gloves for the installation. In the background you can see a couple of my nieces with some military bug veils just in case I was wrong about the disposition of the bees. Tomorrow we will be installing another package in the woods on a hill closer to Jack’s Creek.
